All Hot Rolled
Hot rolled steel is the most widely used structural material in construction, fabrication, and general manufacturing. Ram Steelco stocks a full range of hot rolled shapes, sizes, and grades at our Salem and Millersburg locations — including A36 angle, flat bar, round bar, square bar, channel, I-beam, wide flange, pipe, plate, tread plate, sheet, rebar, and round, rectangular, and square tube.
Hot rolled steel is formed at high temperatures (above 1,700°F), which makes it easier to shape and more cost-effective than cold-finished alternatives. It's the go-to material for structural framing, equipment supports, trailer builds, fencing, brackets, grating, and general fabrication where tight dimensional tolerances are not critical.
Common grades in stock include A36 (structural), A572 Grade 50 (higher strength), and A500 (tubing). We cut to length with our saws, shears, plasma table, and laser — and deliver throughout Oregon with no minimum order.
