Stainless steel combines corrosion resistance with structural strength, making it essential for food processing, marine, chemical, pharmaceutical, and architectural applications. Ram Steelco stocks stainless angle, flat bar, hexagon bar, round bar, square bar, channel, expanded sheet, pipe, plate, tread plate, sheet, and rectangular and square tube — available from our Salem and Millersburg yards.
The two most common grades we carry are 304 (the general-purpose "18-8" stainless, suitable for most food, architectural, and chemical applications) and 316 (with added molybdenum for superior resistance to chlorides, salt water, and aggressive chemicals). We stock both in a range of shapes and sizes for immediate pickup or delivery.
Stainless costs more per pound than carbon steel, but the long-term savings from eliminating painting, coating, and corrosion-related replacement often justify the upfront investment — especially in Oregon's wet climate. We cut to size and deliver throughout the state with no minimum order.
