Applications

The most widely used of the stainless and heat resisting steels. Offers good corrosion resistance to many chemical corrodents as well as industrial atmospheres. Has very good formability and can be readily welded by all common methods.

Applications

304/304L is an extra low carbon variation of 304 and avoids carbide precipitation due to welding. Same corrosion resistance as 304 with slightly lower mechanical properties.
